The challenge
A card game lives on its players, and they need more than a page of explanation: they want to look up every card, know which cards are not allowed and have somewhere to put their deck together. The studio also wants to add new cards, sets and tournaments itself, without a developer being involved.

The solution
- Story and game. Pages about the story of Black Saber, the card game and the rules, in the studio's design.
- Card database. Every card on one page, filterable by cost, attack and hit points among other things.
- Deck builder. Anyone can put a deck together and export it, without an account too. Players who log in save their decks to their account.
- Ban list. A current list of cards that are not allowed or restricted.
- Tournaments. An overview of tournaments players sign up for, with their own matches listed.
- Managing it themselves. The studio manages cards, sets, classes, rarities, characters, tournaments, the frequently asked questions and the content of the pages.

Project Overview
Studio Genexus is the maker of Black Saber, a dark fantasy story with a trading card game to go with it. The design comes from the studio; I did the development and made the system behind the card database and the deck builder, where players look up their cards and put decks together.
